Cäcilia Halbgewachs is a Munich-based architectural and furniture designer with a soft spot for tight corners and awkward floor plans. She completed her Master’s in Architecture at the Technical University of Munich in 2023, followed by Interior Architecture at the Academy of Fine Arts Munich in 2024. She has worked with several architecture practices and in research and teaching at the Technical University of Munich, including the Chairs of Architecture and Design and, currently, Architecture and Timber Construction.
Cäcilia doesn’t draw a line between inside and outside. She approaches architecture as one continuous whole, from the smallest piece of furniture to the façade. Her philosophy: small spaces aren’t a problem to solve, they just call for a fresh perspective, and a little wit ;)
